# Jithox EU Energy Label Preflight

> Read-only EU energy-label preflight over the official EPREL Public API (live mode) or a clearly-labelled SYNTHETIC fixture (dev/test) — provenance.sourceAuthority names which on every result. Search and structure public supplier-declared energy-label records BEFORE an agent or operator relies on them. All data is supplier-declared and NOT verified by Jithox; a no-match is never 'not registered'; missing/stale/unavailable is never a verdict. Never a conformity, CE, GPSR, safety or market-access determination. No registration, upload, mutation or autonomous action.

- `get_eprel_product_record` — Structure ONE public record by its public record identifier: declared supplier/brand, product group, declared public fields, documents, missing fields, provenance and freshness.
- `get_eprel_energy_label_data` — Structure the supplier-DECLARED energy-label / product-sheet data for one public record.
- `compare_eprel_product_metrics` — Compare two or more COMPATIBLE records on their COMMON supplier-declared metrics — a value table only.
- `prepare_energy_label_preflight_receipt` — Bundle the preflight lookups into one idempotent Ed25519-signed receipt committing to the FINGERPRINTED inputs, record references, sources, freshness and decision states — provable evidence of WHAT was looked up and WHEN.

There is no write, send, order or payment tool on this server. `register_eprel_product`
is absent by construction and answers 404 with the reason.

## What an answer is, and is not

Every accepted call returns a uniform decision envelope (status, evidence,
provenance with the source and the moment it was read, limitations) plus an
Ed25519-signed receipt anyone can verify offline against
https://energy.mcp.jithox.com/receipts/public-key.pem. A refusal, a rate limit, an unavailable
source or an incomplete question costs nothing and is never dressed as an
answer. "Unavailable" is a truthful state, never a negative verdict.

## Who this is for, and where you can be

No geographic restriction, no EU company required, no EU address, no VAT
number needed to connect. These servers encode EUROPEAN RULES, and European
rules bind whoever sells into, ships to or invoices the EU — wherever they
are. An exporter in the United States, a manufacturer in China, a marketplace
seller in India and a SaaS billing EU customers all face the same checks, and
all of them can call these servers today.

Payment does not require a euro account, a card, or a Jithox account at all:
the x402 lane settles in USDC on Base from any wallet, anywhere. The prepaid
balance is priced in EUR; the machine lane is not.

## Cost

25 accepted calls free (14 days from key creation), then a
prepaid balance charged per ACCEPTED call. The current per-accepted-call price
for THIS product (and its non-chargeable error states — failures, refusals and

## Boundaries

- Results reflect ONLY the queried source at the stated retrieval time — the official EPREL Public API in live mode, or a clearly-labelled synthetic fixture in dev/test; provenance.sourceAuthority names which.
- EPREL data is supplier-declared; Jithox does not independently verify it (declaredBySupplier=true, verifiedByJithox=false).
- Preflight evidence only — never a legal-conformity, CE, GPSR, product-safety or market-access determination, and not legal advice.
- A no-match means only 'no match in the queried source' — never a statement about registration, legality or conformity.
- No EU or European Commission endorsement is implied; EU/EPREL attribution is mandatory whenever official data is used.
- The supplier/brand search filter is sent to the source, but whether the source applies it SERVER-SIDE is not established: every hit is re-matched by Jithox client-side, so a brand-narrowed search may be incomplete beyond the page examined and is never a complete brand inventory.
- Metric units are Jithox annotations taken from the product group's delegated EU regulation, not values read from EPREL; the numeric values are supplier-declared and passed through unconverted.

No independent penetration test has been performed. Public self-service, and no
compliance certification of any kind is claimed or implied.
